Chemical valves on pressure washers are there to regulate the chemical, the amount the valve can regulate depends on where abouts on the pressure washer the valve is located, the power the pressure washer has(with high pressure chemical the more powerful pressure washer will pull more chemical) and other valve in the system (with low pressure chemical machine there is going to be a venturi system, this will also denote the usage of the chemical).
