Pressure washers have filter on many parts of them to stop foreign bodies from getting into parts they shouldn't.
There are chemical, fuel and water filters fitted to most prssure washers, for use with remote water supplies a foot filter is also advisable.
Filter on pressure washers as with many other kinds of machinery should be changed when they get dirty of have not got the ability to filter correctly anymore, fuel filter should be place in line so that the outside of the filter is showing (if possible ) and the fuel is taken fom the outside to the inside, this make it more obvious when they need changing, water filter usually come in a housing so will need to be unscrewed and checked for obstruction from time to time to sheck they are working corrctly, chemical filter are usualt the foot type and can be inspected easily by the operator when they change the chemical bottle over.
